Junior Security Analyst (Part-Time, HUBZone)

Summary

Humango Solutions is seeking a motivated, part-time Junior Security Analyst to support day-to-day cybersecurity, security monitoring, and compliance activities within our internal environment.

This role is well suited for someone with an interest in cybersecurity, cloud security, endpoint management, Microsoft 365 security, and security operations. The Junior Security Analyst will assist with reviewing security dashboards, monitoring alerts, checking device compliance, reviewing vulnerability information, documenting potential issues, and supporting efforts to strengthen Humango’s overall security posture.

Location

• Fully remote with flexible hours
• Part-time role, 10 hours per week
• Some availability during normal business hours may be needed for team meetings, training, and operational support activities

Qualifications

• Zero to three years of relevant experience in cybersecurity, information technology, help desk support, systems administration, cloud technology, or a related technical field
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree, certification program, technical training program, or equivalent hands-on learning in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, security monitoring, endpoint protection, cloud-based security tools, and security operations concepts
• Ability to review security dashboards, alerts, logs, reports, and other information for potential issues
• Basic understanding of endpoint compliance, device management, patching, vulnerability management, and account security
