Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Freelance Help Desk professional to provide exceptional technical support to users across various platforms. Duties

• Respond promptly to help desk tickets, providing clear and effective technical support for hardware, software, and network issues
• Troubleshoot computer hardware problems, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
• Resolve software-related issues across operating systems such as Windows, macOS, and Linux
• Assist users with network troubleshooting tasks including LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and Wi-Fi connectivity
• Manage Active Directory accounts for user access control and permissions
• Support IT infrastructure components like Microsoft Windows Server environments and network equipment such as routers and switches
• Document all support activities accurately in help desk systems and customer support ticket management tools

Experience

• Proven experience in providing technical support or help desk services in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of operating systems including Windows (Windows 10/11), macOS, and Linux distributions
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as LAN, TCP/IP protocols, DNS management, VPN setup, and firewall configuration
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware issues related to computer hardware components and peripherals
• Ability to communicate complex technical information clearly to non-technical users
