V2X is seeking an experience Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) System Administrator to support our government client. The NCTAMS PAC program oversees the operation and maintenance of 4 Operations Centers: Wahiawa, Hawaii Satellite Communications (SATCOM), Mobile User Objective System (MUOS), Kaneohe, Hawaii Tactical Support Communications (TSCOMM), Naval Radio Transmitting Facility (NRTF). This position will support the Wahiawa SATCOM/MUOS facility. Responsibilities: * Follow help desk CONOPS, local Standard Operating Procedures, and other directives provided by the Government. * Report operational status to the JFTOC Watch Officer and ARSTRAT Global Watch Officer real time IAW the MUOS CONOPS * Perform system administration of all systems and equipment located at the Wahiawa ground station. * Work closely with the MUOS System Engineer to gain detailed knowledge of the MUOS system beyond the current IETM and O-Level requirements (i.e. Knowledge Transfer) * Support management of the Global Network Management Facility - MUOS Ground System Networks, and monitor MUOS Network status and respond to Fault Configuration Accountability Performance and Security (FCAPS) alerts and events. * Manage trouble ticket tracking and review IAW the MUOS Help Desk & Operations Manager CONOPS and ITSM user guide. * Provide operations and maintenance support of the MUOS Global Network Management Facility NOC, Switching Facility, and Radio Access Facility, ancillary equipment including 6 earth terminals. *...
