About the Role
We're seeking a QA Engineer with hands-on experience in test management and automation tools to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their QA career to grow their skills while working across multiple projects in a collaborative, client-facing environment. This is a fully remote position.
Responsibilities
- Design, write, and execute manual and automated test cases for web applications
- Manage test case documentation and traceability using Jira and Zephyr Scale
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress
- Write clear, behavior-driven test scenarios using Gherkin syntax
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project teams to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
- Participate in sprint planning, test planning, and release readiness reviews
- Support multiple concurrent projects and adapt to varying client requirements
- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and test coverage
Required Qualifications
- 0–3 years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
- Working knowledge of Jira and Zephyr Scale (or similar test management tools)
- Experience writing and executing test cases using Cypress
- Familiarity with Gherkin/BDD syntax for writing test scenarios
- Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to interface with clients remotely
- Comfortable working independently in a distributed/remote team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Exposure to JavaScript/TypeScript
- Basic understanding of API testing concepts
- Prior experience in a consulting or client services environment

Pay: $76,367.18 - $91,969.08 per year
