Blu Omega is seeking a QA Engineer and Tester to support enterprise-level data, analytics, and application modernization initiatives within a mission-driven federal health environment. This role operates within an Agile software delivery environment and is responsible for automated and manual testing across web applications, APIs, and data-driven platforms. The position requires experience supporting test automation, CI/CD pipeline support, and quality engineering practices within a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, maintain, and optimize automated testing frameworks for web applications, APIs, and data-driven platforms.
• Develop scalable test environments using AWS, Azure, Docker, and other cloud technologies to support reliable and repeatable testing.
• Apply AI-enhanced testing approaches, including tools such as GitHub Copilot and agentic UI automation, to improve testing efficiency and expand coverage.
• Perform automated and manual testing, including functional, regression, usability, UAT, integration, and API testing, to validate end-to-end system functionality.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, scripts, and validation strategies for web-based data platforms and enterprise applications.
• Implement, maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD workflows to enable continuous validation and improve release quality.
