IT Support Technician

We are seeking a hands-on IT Support Technician to serve as the first point of contact for day-to-day technology support across the organization. This role handles help desk requests, desktop and hardware support, and routine maintenance, keeping end users productive and equipment running reliably. This position focuses on frontline support and escalates complex infrastructure issues as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, service-oriented, and comfortable troubleshooting a wide range of hardware and software issues.

Pay Scale

: $40,000 - $60,000

Key Responsibilities

Help Desk & End-User Support

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee technology requests via phone, email, and in person.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printing, and connectivity issues for desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Support standard business applications, including Google Workspace, email, and communication tools.
• Log, track, and follow up on support requests to ensure timely resolution, and escalate complex or infrastructure-level issues appropriately.
• Assist employees with software installation, configuration, and basic training.

Desktop & Hardware Support

• Set up, image, and deploy new desktops, laptops, monitors, and peripherals.
• Perform hardware repairs, upgrades, and replacements, coordinating warranty service when required.
• Maintain and support printers, copiers, and scanners.
• Support remote desktop connectivity and assist users working remotely.
• Manage hardware and software lifecycles, including upgrades, maintenance, and end-of-life planning.

User Administration & Onboarding

• Create, modify, and disable user accounts and access under the direction of leadership for new hires, role changes, and departures.
• Prepare workstations, phones, and credentials for new employees and reclaim equipment from departing staff.
