Help Desk Technician

Job Overview

We are seeking an entry level Helpdesk Technician to provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to end users. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure, hardware, and software systems. Responsibilities

• Provide timely and effective technical support to end-users via help desk tickets, phone, or remote sessions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues related to operating systems such as Windows and macOS.
• Manage computer hardware including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Assist with software troubleshooting for applications including Microsoft Office and other enterprise tools.
• Support computer management tasks such as Active Directory administration and GPO configuration
• Collaborate with team members to analyze issues, document solutions, and improve support processes.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of technical support principles with experience in desktop support and help desk operations.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting software issues across multiple operating systems including Windows and macOS.
• Familiarity with computer networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN management
• Ability to manage computer hardware components effectively while providing excellent customer service skills.
• Knowledge of operating systems including Windows (various versions), macOS
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.
