DTS Help Desk

Provides Defense Travel System (DTS) customer and serves as a Tier-II point of contact assisting travelers and Approving Officials with DTS technical issues, software usage, troubleshooting, entitlements, travel policy, transactions, and DTS-related payment problems. Supports travel requests remotely through telephone and email service requests and provides DTS expertise to group discussions as needed. Audits travel authorizations and vouchers for compliance with the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) and DoD Financial Management Regulation (FMR) 7000.14R. Supports Government Travel Charge Card activities, including card activation/deactivation and credit limit changes. Maintains daily performance logs and provides process improvement recommendations. Supports Content Management and Business Process Analysis using SharePoint and Knowledge Management Support Tools (KMST) web applications and portals. **This position is based in Huntsville, but may allow remote telework.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have an active security clearance
• DTS and application process and Joint Travel Regulation (JTR) Subject Matter Expert (SME).

CERTIFICATION/COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENTS

• Computing Environment Certification Required
• Must meet applicable DoD 8140 cybersecurity workforce certification requirements
• Must comply with applicable DoD/Army cybersecurity, information assurance, and security requirements
