About Us

We currently operate our own front-end debt settlement company and have established in-house marketing channels, lead generation, sales operations, and client acquisition systems. We are now looking to build and scale the backend side of the business.

This is not an attorney position. We are looking for a CEO-level operator or experienced debt settlement executive who knows how to build, manage, and scale the backend operations of a debt settlement company.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced debt settlement operations leader to help launch, structure, and run a backend debt settlement company. The ideal candidate has direct experience with debt-related legal groups, debt settlement operations, debt relief servicing companies, or legal backend operations and understands the full lifecycle of debt settlement clients after enrollment.

This person should be capable of owning the backend operation from the ground up, including compliance coordination, client servicing, creditor negotiations, settlement operations, payment processes, vendor relationships, staffing, reporting, systems, and overall company performance.

Responsibilities

• Build, launch, and manage backend debt settlement operations
• Oversee client onboarding, servicing, retention, and settlement workflows
• Manage or build teams for client success, negotiations, settlements, processing, and operations
• Work with legal, compliance, and regulatory partners to ensure proper structure and procedures
• Develop SOPs, workflows, reporting, and operational controls
• Coordinate with front-end sales and marketing teams to ensure smooth client handoff
• Manage performance metrics, client outcomes, cancellation rates, settlement timelines, and profitability
• Help select and implement the proper technology, CRM, payment, document, and servicing platforms
• Build relationships with attorneys, compliance professionals, vendors, and industry partners
• Lead the company as a senior executive, operating partner, or CEO-level leader

Ideal Candidate

• Has built, operated, or held a senior leadership role inside a debt settlement company, debt relief company, debt-related legal group, legal backend operation, or similar business
• Understands the backend operations of debt settlement, including client servicing, negotiations, settlements, retention, compliance, and payment processes
• Has experience managing teams, systems, vendors, reporting, and company-wide operations
• Is comfortable taking ownership of a startup-style buildout
• Has strong knowledge of debt settlement industry risks, compliance requirements, and operational best practices
• Can work closely with ownership to turn an existing front-end debt settlement company into a fully integrated operation
• Has relationships in the debt settlement, debt relief, legal services, creditor negotiation, or financial services space

Important Clarification

This is not a sales closer role and not an attorney role. We are looking for someone who can operate at the executive level and take responsibility for building and running the backend debt settlement business.

Compensation

Compensation will range from $150,000 to $450,000 per year depending on experience, track record, and fit. For the right candidate, an equity or profit-sharing structure may be considered.
