Technical Support Analyst

Position Summary

Aquinas Institute of Theology is seeking an experienced and service-oriented Technical Support Analyst.

Aquinas Institute of Theology is a Catholic, Dominican, graduate school of theology in Saint Louis, Missouri. Aquinas Institute prepares men and women, priests, vowed religious and lay, to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a variety of ministries in the Church. Our formation is distinctively Dominican: it includes rigorous study, human and spiritual formation, prayer and intentional community, all aimed at the mission of preaching.

The ideal candidate will be deeply committed to the mission of the Catholic Church and understand their work as a meaningful contribution to that mission. Familiarity with the Dominican charism and/or Catholic education is a plus.

The ideal candidate will think and work strategically, capable of implementing an IT strategic plan and understanding how IT fits within a broader institution-wide strategic plan.

The ideal candidate will also have a background in IT support, AV troubleshooting, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences for faculty, staff, and students. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, maintaining our network and systems, and providing training and support for the institution.

The Technical Support Analyst maintains and troubleshoots both information technology and instructional technology hardware and software. They implement and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable technology systems that support academic instruction, administration, and institutional operations. The role researches and implements projects as well as provides technical support, and works closely with institutional leadership and vendors to deliver high-impact IT services.
