Mutual of Omaha's Enterprise Data Warehouse Platform and Services team is seeking an System Engineer to serve as an administrator, owner, and champion of enterprise data platforms while helping our technical partners successfully leverage the technologies we support.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

• Estimated Salary: Engineer II: $110,000 - $120,000, plus annual bonus opportunity.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Administer, support, document and continually improve enterprise data platforms and associated technologies.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot software on Linux-based, Cloud-based, and other supported platform environments.
• Partner with Data Engineers, Application Development teams and other technical users to help them effectively utilize supported platforms.
• Monitor platform health, investigate issues and drive timely resolution of operational incidents and service requests.
• Automate operational processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and user experience.
• Pursue Operational Excellence through documentation, knowledge sharing and continuous service improvement.
• Maintain and enhance data mart (ETL and database model) and reporting structures.
• Support weekly 24x7 on call
