Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Systems Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in classical engineering disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, or Hardware Engineering) and demonstrate a deep understanding of engineering rigor and process. In addition, the candidate should have significant experience with system design of software-based products, including user experience (UX) design, and knowledge of software design practices. Knowledge of real-time communication system design, secure IP networking, and Modular Open Systems Architecture (MOSA) is highly desirable. What a Systems Engineer Does at REDCOM Laboratories: * Gather and analyze requirements from internal and external stakeholders, including standards documents, to create actionable engineering specifications. * Collaboratively design and document system architectures to meet requirements, integrating hardware, software, system interface, and user interface components. * Provide technical leadership and facilitate collaboration across multidisciplinary teams for design, prototyping, validation, and commercialization of product systems. * Apply engineering best practices and ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards. * Assist in troubleshooting and resolving system-level issues throughout product development and deployment life cycle. * Prepare clear technical documentation and communicate project status to diverse audiences. * Drive continuous improvement to products and engineering process by staying current with industry tr...
