Systems Engineer II – Manufacturing Execution

At BAE Systems Space & Mission Systems (SMS) we develop and manufacture state-of-the-art RF & sensor technologies. This systems engineer role will report into our Manufacturing & Test Operations team and support activities within our Aerospace Manufacturing Center located in Westminster, Colorado. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, integrate, and test manufacturing execution system tools to enable the production team.

This is a challenging and dynamic role that includes data analysis, execution system development and system sustainment. This opportunity requires a results driven individual, with passion for creating the best solutions.

The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution – from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management.

What You’ll Do

* Develop and support our in-house created system tools used by manufacturing team members. * Requirement gathering and an ability to understand needs, problem solve and create solutions. * Develop applications and tools using requirements to improve data visibility, value, and operational efficiency. * Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and other manufacturing methodologies so that the tools developed will support the production strategy. * Ability to understand large and complicated datasets to develop tools that use the information effectively. * Development using the following: + C# / .NET – application logic and backend. + Blazor / CSS – component framework and styling. + SQL – database queries and information saving (MS...
