Not Required Our Air Traffic Systems (ATS) Systems Engineering Department has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Systems Engineer to join our ATS Air Traffic Control (ATC) team in Omaha, NE or Marlborough, MA. Principal Systems Engineers provide technical direction and clarification of requirements to software development teams & test personnel, perform system engineering analyses including trade studies, requirements definition and derivation, interface definition, and requirement verification and validation. As part of the ATS team, you'll be instrumental in supporting the next generation of Air Traffic Control by supporting the replacement of the Federal Aviation System’s (FAA) aging legacy weather systems with a Next Generation Weather solution.

This position requires occasional domestic travel.

What You Will Do

• Perform integration and test activities to support development, maintenance, and deployment of the system
• Manage and/or generate systems engineering related documentation of legacy and newly developed products (design memos, specifications, diagrams, Interface Control Documents, test requirements/plans, optimization procedures) in support of projects.
• Perform Data analysis, including development of various analysis tools
• Make informed technical decisions to drive project success and conduct various technical analyses to support decision making process
