Job Summary NexGen Technologies is seeking a Software Quality Assurance/Test Engineer to support a federal civilian modernization program by ensuring the quality, reliability, and compliance of mission-critical applications. This role is responsible for designing and executing test strategies, developing automated and manual test cases, validating system functionality, and ensuring alignment with federal requirements, security standards, and program objectives.

The Software Quality Assurance/Test Engineer performs advanced, professional work requiring independent judgment in validating complex systems, identifying defects, and ensuring that technical delivery meets contractual and mission outcomes. Experience testing modern digital services, cloud-hosted applications, and AI-enabled components is strongly preferred to support an automation-forward modernization initiative. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (as assigned)
