This is a 12-week internship during summer 2027.

You'll join Coinbase as a software engineer intern and help build the next generation of crypto-forward products and features. You'll solve large-scale, complex technical problems at the intersection of web-scale applications and blockchain technology, shipping real code that impacts millions of users.

During the application process, you'll select your preferred team from the groups below. Your application will be primarily considered for your selected team in the specified location. Following the hybrid internship, any full-time return opportunity would be remote-first.

Product Group Teams (internship location = San Francisco)

• Base - Scale the crypto economy by creating integrations, fiat onramps, and developer tools on Coinbase's Ethereum L2 network, connecting builders to 108M+ users and $100B+ in assets.
• Consumer - Build the fastest way to access crypto through the Coinbase retail and wallet apps, advanced trade, dApps, and staking.
• Developer - Help build out Coinbase Developer Platform - trusted crypto infrastructure at scale. Payments, Wallets, Trading, and Stablecoin APIs for the global financial system.
• Institutional - Enable thousands of large financial institutions to securely custody digital assets, stake, and participate in the crypto eco
