The Role

We are looking for a motivated Software Engineer I to join our early engineering team.

As an early-career engineer, you’ll work directly on our core product, helping build and refine features that dental clinics rely on every day. This is a great role for a recent graduate or junior developer who wants hands-on experience building a real-world product from the ground up.

You’ll be working in a product-focused environment, contributing to features that directly impact how clinics manage their schedules and workflows.

Key Responsibilities

### Feature Development

Build and ship new features that improve scheduling workflows, such as

  • automated reminders
  • waitlist and slot-filling logic
  • schedule visibility tools for front-desk teams

### Bug Fixing & Maintenance

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues to ensure a reliable and smooth experience for dental staff.

### Collaboration

Work closely with other engineers and product leads in

  • sprint planning
  • daily stand-ups
  • feature discussions

### Code Quality

Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

### Testing

Write unit and integration tests to ensure stability and reliability as the product evolves.

Technical Qualifications

----------------------------

### Modern Web Development

  • Strong understanding of JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Experience with frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular

### Backend Foundations

  • Familiarity with Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails
  • Basic understanding of REST APIs

### Database Knowledge

* Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) or NoSQL (MongoDB)

### Version Control

* Comfortable using Git and GitHub

### Problem Solving

* Ability to debug issues and break down complex problems into manageable steps

Preferred Skills

--------------------

  • Internship experience or strong personal projects
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar)
  • Interest in building clean, usable interfaces for real-world users
  • Curiosity about workflow-heavy applications (operations, scheduling, etc.)
