Software Engineer

Overview

Build reliable, user-focused software as a Software Engineer. You’ll contribute across application development and web development, from shaping system design to delivering and maintaining scalable systems. Collaborate with teammates through Agile software development practices, and turn product needs into clear, dependable solutions.

Duties

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software using sound software engineering and software design practices.
• Build front-end and back-end features, RESTful APIs, and microservices; apply design patterns to support scalability.
• Work with SQL databases, including MySQL, and contribute to cloud infrastructure and IT infrastructure.
• Use version control and CI/CD workflows to review, integrate, and release code.
• Your impact: Thoughtful system design and dependable APIs help users access consistent, responsive applications.

Experience

• Experience in software development, application development, or web development; familiarity with Agile methods is valuable.
• Knowledge of programming languages and tools may include Ruby on Rails, JavaScript and JavaScript frameworks, Java, C#,.NET, Python, C, C++, VBA, and React Express.
• Familiarity with REST, APIs, SQL, MySQL, scalable systems, microservices, AWS, Azure, Linux, and role-based access control (RBAC) is useful.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, or Subversion (SVN) is welcome; candidates may bring relevant experience with other technologies.
• Quantum engineering experience is a nice-to-have, not a requirement.

Pay: $50.00 - $160.00 per hour
