Description

Akima Data Management is currently seeking Software Engineer to join the team and his responsibilities will include but not limited to the following:

Responsibilities: * Provide timely programming and site development support for PCD's online publication delivery across multiple platforms (e.g., web, iOS, Android, RSS feeds). * Support the development of publication-ready digital assets using current online publication technologies, standards, and best practices, informed by professional development through the Council of Science Editors Annual Meeting, the Society for Scholarly Publishing Annual Meeting, other relevant publishing conferences, and ongoing collaboration and networking with publication technology professionals. * Troubleshoot responsive design layouts, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS, video, podcasts
