Key Responsibilities

* Software Development: * + Design, develop, and maintain software solutions for StoneFly’s product lines, focusing on storage, networking, and virtualization technologies. + Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in languages such as C++, Python, Java, or other relevant programming languages. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements. * Product Innovation: * + Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve StoneFly’s product offerings, integrating new technologies and features to meet evolving market demands. + Contribute to the architecture and design of new software products and tools that enhance system performance, usability, and scalability. * Troubleshooting & Support: * + Diagnose and fix bugs or performance issues, ensuring robust and stable software products. + Work closely with the QA team to write and run test cases to ensure software quality and reliability. * Documentation & Code Reviews: * + Create and maintain technical documentation for new and existing software solutions. + Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices. * Collaboration with Internal Teams: * + Collaborate with product management, support, and sales teams to understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions. + Provide technical guidance and support to other developers and team members when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in software development, with a strong background in building and maintaining software systems.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, GO or related technologies.
• Experience working with storage, networking, or virtualization systems (SAN, NAS, VMware, Hyper-V) is a plus.
• Familiarity with database systems, cloud computing platforms, and software development frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with StoneFly’s products and IT infrastructure solutions.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), or cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Previous experience in the storage, networking, or virtualization industry.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and version control systems (Git, SVN).
