As a sof t war e sustainment engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll have an operational impact from day one. With a team of professionals, you’ll maintain applications and keep systems working. You and your team will use programming and scripting languages as you continuously enhance and maintain the applications, troubleshoot any issues that arise operationally, and upgrade the systems to meet security requirements.

Most importantly, you’ll advise our clients on the best ways to improve and modernize the existing systems. Work with us to help us secure cru cia l systems while watching them grow and modernize.

You Have

• Experience with programming in Python and C
• Experience in web development using HTML and JavaScript
• Experience using React frameworks
• Experience using Docker
• Ability to apply critical and analytic thinking to improve and troubleshoot code
• Top Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing sof t war e programming applications using Agile met hods, or 12+ years of experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing sof t war e programming applications using Agile met hods in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have

• Experience with applying cloud computing in AWS to develop and deploy more efficient, secure, and cost-effective sof t war e
• Experience with object-oriented design ( OOD ) to develop flexible and maintainable programs
