We're looking for a Senior Systems Engineer who enjoys solving complex technical problems, mentoring others, and leading technical initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who wants to be a technical leader without moving into a purely management position.

Position Summary

The Senior Systems Administrator serves as the highest level of technical escalation for our service team. You'll troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, lead server and cloud migration projects, mentor junior engineers, and help establish technical standards that improve the quality and consistency of our services.

What You'll Do

Technical Escalations

• Serve as Tier III escalation support for complex server, virtualization, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues.
• Troubleshoot Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Hyper-V, VMware, Windows Server, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and storage issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.
• Assist with cybersecurity remediation and infrastructure hardening.

Project Leadership

• Lead server refreshes and migration projects.
• Plan and execute Windows Server upgrades and migrations.
• Design and implement Microsoft 365 and Azure infrastructure.
• Perform virtualization migrations and storage upgrades.
• Coordinate project work with internal teams and client stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are documented and transitioned successfully to support.
