POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Security Analyst/Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) will provide advanced cybersecurity, risk management, and system authorization support to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS. The Senior ISSO independently leads ATO and reauthorization cycles for assigned IT systems, drives continuous monitoring operations, leads incident response coordination, and serves as a senior point of contact for the System Owner, Authorizing Official (AO), Information System Security Manager (ISSM), the DHS CISO, the DHS Privacy Office, OCIO, and APV leadership.

This role applies the DHS 4300A Sensitive Systems Policy, FISMA, the NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST SP 800-53, the Privacy Act, and DHS-specific cybersecurity directives to high-sensitivity HR/HC e
