We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure and automation processes. Duties
- Develop, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure using platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and OpenStack, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
- Design and implement containerization strategies utilizing Docker, Kubernetes, and VMware to streamline application deployment and management across environments.
- Automate configuration management and provisioning with tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, and PowerShell to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab, TFS, Maven, Gradle, and other industry-standard tools to accelerate software release cycles.
- Monitor system performance with tools such as New Relic, Splunk, Elasticsearch, and Log analysis platforms; troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Manage enterprise middleware including WebSphere, Weblogic, JBoss, Tomcat, and IIS to support diverse application architectures.
- Ensure IT security best practices by configuring firewalls, implementing cloud security measures, managing identity & access management (IAM), and conducting incident response activities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in DevOps engineering within enterprise environments involving complex IT infrastructure.
- Strong proficiency with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or OpenStack.
- Extensive hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), virtualization (VMware), and scripting languages including Python, Bash (Unix shell), PowerShell, Groovy, Perl, Ruby on Rails.
- Familiarity with enterprise software deployment tools like Jenkins, GitHub/GitLab/TFS for CI/CD pipelines; version control systems including SVN and Git.
- Knowledge of databases such as MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle; experience with SQL/PLSQL/T-SQL for database management.
- Expertise in system administration tasks on Linux/UNIX/Windows Server environments; understanding of network administration including DNS, TCP/IP protocols.
- Ability to implement disaster recovery plans and ensure cloud security compliance across multiple platforms.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on software troubleshooting, debugging complex issues in distributed systems.

Pay: $125,222.48 - $150,805.56 per year
