Duties

• Develop, implement, and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines using tools like Informatica, Talend, or custom scripting in Python and Bash to ensure efficient data flow across systems.
• Design and maintain scalable data models and data warehouses utilizing dimensional modeling principles to support business intelligence activities.
• Manage large-scale big data systems leveraging Hadoop, Apache Hive, Spark, and cloud-based solutions such as Azure Data Lake and AWS to process vast datasets reliably.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate linked data sources and develop comprehensive data management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
• Build and enhance business intelligence dashboards using Looker and other visualization tools to facilitate clear insights for stakeholders.
• Ensure high-quality data management by implementing best practices in database design, query management, and data warehousing design across SQL databases like Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• Support software development efforts by creating RESTful APIs for seamless data access and integrating cloud databases into existing infrastructure.
• Participate in Agile development cycles, contributing to continuous improvement of data engineering processes through iterative testing and deployment.
