New York Life is seeking an experienced and skilled Cloud Engineer that will be a member of the Cloud Services team and drive cross-functional technology for delivering projects on an IaaS platform to meet critical technology and business requirements. This opportunity provides the right individual an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing cloud platform, with new emerging technologies that support New York Life’s cloud journey.

The individual should be well versed in infrastructure as code practices using Terraform and 4+ years Cloud experience.

What You'll Do

* Build best-in-industry Developer experiences that are truly omni-channel, agile and scalable leveraging leading-edge technology and reusable components and services.

* Understanding of FinOps principles and desire for continued learning

* Develops ad hoc and on-going cloud financial forecasts and models that assist in making decisions, effectively communicating trends and outcomes.

* Partners with exceptional software engineering and data teams to curate enterprise-wide reporting, applicable to all technology stakeholders.
