Palantir Foundry Developer / Data Engineer

Remote, USPosted 2 days ago

Job Description

### About the Role

We're hiring a Palantir Foundry Developer / Data Engineer for a contract engagement, fully remote within the United States. You'll own the platform end-to-end: designing ontologies, building pipelines, and delivering user-facing applications.

### What You'll Do

  • Own end-to-end Foundry pipeline development: data ingestion, Code Repository transforms (PySpark/Python/SQL), dataset structuring, and incremental processing logic.
  • Design Foundry Ontologies: define object types, link types, properties, action types, and functions that accurately model the business domain.
  • Build Workshop applications: configure object tables, filters, action forms, map views, and writeback workflows for business users.
  • Integrate AIP (Palantir's LLM layer): build agents, LLM-backed actions, and natural language interfaces on top of Ontology objects.
  • Implement Foundry Expectations and data quality checks embedded directly in pipeline logic.
  • Support OSDK-based custom application development where required.
  • Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into Foundry data models and applications.

### What We're Looking For

  • Production Palantir Foundry experience, ideally at an enterprise customer or through a Palantir-contracted engagement
  • Hands-on experience with Foundry Code Repositories (PySpark transforms, incremental pipelines, schema management)
  • Familiarity with Foundry Ontology Manager: object types, link types, action types, functions, and access scoping
  • Experience building Workshop applications: widgets, object tables, action forms, map/detail views
  • Palantir AIP experience (LLM integration, agents, natural language actions) is a strong plus

### Nice to Have

  • Experience with Foundry Expectations, schema drift detection, and data validation frameworks
  • OSDK (Ontology SDK) usage for custom React or frontend application development
  • Experience with Foundry Media Sets and RAG pipeline implementation
  • Quiver, Contour, or Slate experience for advanced analytics and visualization within Foundry

### Engagement Details

  • Contract (W2, 1099, or C2C) · Fully remote within the United States · US work authorization required · No sponsorship available.
  • Nashville, TN area candidates given first preference for potential onsite requirements.
