We are seeking an experienced MySQL/MariaDB Database Administrator to join our Managed Services organization. This role will support a self-hosted enterprise application environment with strict availability, performance, and operational reliability expectations. The DBA will be responsible for database stability, replication health, performance tuning, backup and recovery, patching, troubleshooting, and production support across development, test, and production environments.

This is a client-facing managed services role, not a staff augmentation role. The ideal candidate takes proactive ownership of database health, identifies issues before they become incidents, documents clear resolution plans, and collaborates with application, infrastructure, and customer teams to maintain platform availability. The role includes participation in a scheduled on-call rotation for priority incidents, including after-hours support for P1/P2 events.
