Material Handling Systems Engineer

MechCore is looking for an engineer to help design material handling systems for customers in the parcel and distribution industries.

What You’ll Do

• Design conveyor, sortation and related material handling systems
• Turn customer drawings and requirements into concepts and detailed designs
• Prepare drawings, bills of material and project documentation
• Visit customer sites and take part in customer meetings
• Help mentor newer engineers and contribute to ongoing improvements
• Deliver designs on schedule to customers and suppliers

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Experience with material handling or conveyor systems
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SOLIDWORKS and Microsoft Office
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• A collaborative, customer-focused approach
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally
