Job Summary

We are seeking a Journeyman Software Engineer to support a DoD program. The candidate will work with the technical lead and development team to maintain and enhance existing Java-based applications in the cloud environment, troubleshoot issues, and support ongoing development and modernization efforts.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years experience with Java software design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Experience with software development lifecycle.
• Experience with web-based applications, client/server applications, or cloud-hosted systems.
• Experience with software development concepts and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with common release tracking software (JIRA, Confluence).
• Experience with basic SQL.
• Knowledge of AWS Cloud.
• Knowledge of leveraging AI-assisted development tools, automated code generation, or AI-powered engineering capabilities.
