IT Support Specialist (L2)

We are Palmiq and we are looking for an experienced Level 2 Systems Administrator / Cloud & Security Engineer (2–3+ years L2 experience) to join our technical support team in a fast-paced Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment.

You will serve as a primary escalation point for complex helpdesk issues, administering Microsoft cloud environments, managing enterprise endpoints, supporting security frameworks, and collaborating across L1-L5 support tiers.

Key Responsibilities

• Endpoint & Cloud Management: Administer Microsoft Intune (Autopilot, MDM/MAM, security policies, BitLocker) and deploy/troubleshoot Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments and Azure networking components.
• Identity & Access (Entra ID & M365): Manage M365 tenants, resolve complex authentication issues (Hybrid Join, SSO, MFA, Conditional Access), and enforce least-privilege security.
• Security & Compliance: Administer Microsoft Purview (DLP, sensitivity labels), investigate Defender/Sentinel security alerts, and support frameworks like NIST and CMMC.
• L2 Operations & Documentation: Own escalated technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, maintain meticulous PSA ticket documentation, and update SOPs.

Core Technical Stack

• Microsoft Cloud: M365, Azure, Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams.
• Endpoints & Virtualization: Intune, Autopilot, AVD.
• Security: Defender XDR, Sentinel, Purview, Conditional Access, MFA.
• Infrastructure & Networking: Windows Server, AD, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Fortinet, UniFi.
• Automation: PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 3+ years in systems administration or advanced IT support (MSP background preferred).
• Skills: Hands-on expertise with M365, Entra ID, Intune, AVD, and core networking/infrastructure troubleshooting.
• Certifications (Bonus): MD-102, AZ-104, SC-300, SC-400, or AZ-800/801.
