Where You’ll Work

This position is based in our Lenexa, KS office. We leverage a hybrid working model working three days in the office, two days optional remote work.

What You’ll Do

The IT Cloud Engineer plays a key role in designing and implementing cloud‑based infrastructure for CHA’s centrally managed applications. This includes deploying, automating, monitoring, and maintaining resilient SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS solutions in Azure. The cloud engineer collaborates closely with agile teams to support continuous delivery and guide solutions through the SDLC into production. This role requires hands-on experience with Azure cloud services, Terraform for infrastructure‑as‑code, and strong security and networking expertise. * Build, maintain, and optimize automated build-test-deploy workflows using Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins to enable rapid, safe software delivery. * Develop and maintain scalable, version-controlled cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Bicep, and ARM templates to ensure environment parity across dev, test, and production. * Design highly scalable, resilient, and secure data platform solutions in Azure, including compute, networking, and managed storage services. * Support containerization using Docker and manage deployments across Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Azure Container Apps, focusing on scaling, ingress, and security. * Automate security scans, manage secrets via Azure Key Vault, and enforce secure coding practices throughout the development lifecycle. * Define and instrument logging, monitoring, and alerting strategies to proactively detect and prevent system failures. * Own and lead triage for critical platform/infrastruc...
