Role Description: Intalus is seeking an Infrastructure, Identity & Security Engineer to design, implement, secure, and support the company's cloud and endpoint infrastructure. This role will be responsible for Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Identity and Access Management (IAM), endpoint management, and cybersecurity operations supporting both commercial and government-regulated environments.
This position will work directly with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to implement Zero Trust architecture, support CMMC Level 2 compliance, and establish scalable IT operations for a rapidly growing aerospace and defense manufacturer.
Essential Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure & Identity
- Administer Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments (policies, users, groups and many other area)
- Manage Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Identity Governance.
- Administer Okta identity and federation services.
- Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations.
- Support Microsoft GCC High environments.
- Implement and maintain cloud-based infrastructure services.
- Applicants must demonstrate writing and skills related to document systems and engineering rigor
Endpoint & Systems Administration
- Administer Microsoft Intune and endpoint compliance policies.
- Manage Windows workstation deployment and lifecycle activities.
- Support device compliance, endpoint security, and vulnerability remediation.
- Administer SharePoint Online, Teams, and Exchange Online.
- Maintain system documentation and operating procedures.
- May perform some work in our ERM and materials system. Experience with complex application permissions and/or any ERP system admin work is desired, and not required.
Security Operations
- Support cybersecurity monitoring and incident response activities.
- Implement Zero Trust security controls.
- Manage security certificates, PKI, and authentication systems.
- Conduct security reviews and access audits.
- Assist with risk assessments and remediation activities.
Compliance Support
- Support implementation and maintenance of CMMC Level 2 controls.
- Assist with NIST SP 800-171 compliance activities.
- Support evidence collection and audit preparation.
- Maintain technical security documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Microsoft cloud administration experience.
- Experience administering Azure, Microsoft 365, and Entra ID.
- Experience with Conditional Access and MFA technologies.
- Experience supporting Windows endpoint management.
- Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills.
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and security operations.
- Ability to obtain a federal security clearance (Public Trust, SECRET or similar)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Okta Identity Management.
- Experience writing policy statements and drafting compliance documentation is a must.
- Work experience with both end user and systems support is preferred
- Experience supporting GCC High environments or high level federal systems is a plus (secret, TS, etc)
- Experience implementing CMMC or NIST 800-171 controls (or 800-53 moderate or high, or similar DOD, DOE frameworks)
- Experience with next generation NGFW, VPNs and other agents.
- Microsoft Azure or Security certifications. Associate and/or CISSP cert from ISC^2 is desired.
- Experience with Virtual Desktops and workstation policies is desired
- 5+ years of experience managing and building systems in a compliance oriented space

Salary Range
$120,000 – $150,000
