Corrections Software Solutions (CSS) is an Austin-based, 32-year-old company dedicated to providing Case Management Software and Services to Local Government. Our flagship product—a single-page Case Tracking application within a robust dashboard—supports probation departments across the U.S., enabling them to manage caseloads with efficiency and ease. Serving some of the largest counties in the nation, we’re a tight-knit team of around 30 people that values innovation and collaboration in a startup-like environment.

We’re looking for a talented Web Developer with a solid grasp of web development fundamentals to help us enhance and expand our product suite. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive, agile team based in downtown Austin and make an impact on a product used nationwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize our single-page Case Tracking application.
• Collaborate within an agile, cross-functional team to design, develop, and launch new features.
• Create custom reports and documents from our form-based application to meet client needs.
• Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and security.
• Work closely with developers and designers to implement UI/UX enhancements.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and improve existing code to ensure user satisfaction.

Requirements

• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with databases and form-based applications.
• Familiarity with PHP, Python, React, and SQL is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Must be comfortable working in our downtown Austin office and collaborating closely with the team.
