The Games Social Experiences team is responsible for building and evolving the social layer of Netflix Games, the features that turn solo play into shared experiences. We work across every surface Netflix ships on: TV UI, Web, Android, and iOS. From friends lists and game invites to multiplayer lobbies and social presence, our team is at the intersection of real-time systems, cross-platform UI, and product innovation. Our charter spans both the backend services (Social Graph, friends, chat, multiplayer infrastructure) and the frontend client experiences that bring social features to life across all canvases.

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer (L5) who can operate fluidly across the stack — from backend services powering social interactions to the client-side UI that surfaces them across TV, mobile, and web. This is a high-impact role on a team that is building 0-to-1 social experiences at Netflix scale. Our responsibilities include building real-time social systems, running large-scale A/B experiments, and shipping features across multiple platforms simultaneously. We care deeply about performance, quality, and accessibility. To bring new kinds of social and interactive experiences to life, we partner closely with many cross-functional teams including product management, experience design, trust and safety, and the broader Games Player Experiences org.
