Full Stack Engineer with AI and Salesforce App Dev Experience

We are looking for a highly capable Software Engineer with strong Salesforce App Development experience to lead development on a specific, scoped initiative including integration into an existing published Salesforce AppExchange application.

This is not a generic Salesforce admin or customization role. The work centers on product-level development, including enhancements to an existing app.

The initial engagement is project-based.

If we see strong progress and velocity, we hope to hire the engineer full time to join our small team. This is intended to be a succinct project to see how we work together and how efficient you can be. The interview process will first be a discussion of fit and compatibility, then a discussion of the project. We will determine the project scope and payment on completion - if you can be more efficient, then the effective hourly rate will be higher.

What You’ll Do:

• Take a PRD and working prototype and complete the project, including extension into the Salesforce App. Heavy on the AI application.
• Work directly with product leadership to make sure any development meets clean, scalable architecture
• Own the end-to-end app development lifecycle, including:
• Apex, LWC, and platform services
• Packaging strategy (managed/unlocked)
• Versioning and release management
• Navigate and execute the Salesforce AppExchange deployment process, including:
• Security review considerations
• Metadata packaging and upgrades
• Environment strategy (scratch orgs, sandboxes, production)
• Integrate and leverage AI-assisted development workflows to accelerate delivery and improve code quality
• Identify opportunities to modernize or simplify legacy patterns in the current app
