About Breeze

At Breeze, we believe protecting your income shouldn’t be complicated. Your income is how you build and sustain your lifestyle and when life interrupts your ability to work due to injury, illness, or unforeseen circumstances, having reliable protection matters more than ever. Breeze exists to provide a better way to buy and manage disability insurance by pairing easy-to-use technology with dedicated insurance specialists who help customers find the right coverage. Unlike traditional carriers, Breeze operates as a broker, giving our partners access to a broad portfolio of disability insurance solutions across the market.

Full Stack Software Engineer II

Breeze is looking for a Software Engineer II to help build and maintain the systems that power our insurance products and operations. You’ll work directly with our CTO on customer-, agent-, and employee-facing applications using .NET, Angular, SQL, and Azure.

As you learn our systems and demonstrate capability, you’ll take responsibility for increasingly important parts of our technology stack.

What You’ll Do

  • Build, test, and maintain frontend and backend features using Angular and .NET / ASP.NET Core.
  • Design and maintain application data models, queries, and migrations using SQL and Entity Framework Core.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and production issues across the application stack.
  • Participate in technical design, code reviews, testing, and deployment.
  • Improve the reliability, security, maintainability, and performance of our systems.
  • Over time, expand your ownership into areas such as Azure, Azure DevOps and CI/CD, Cloudflare/DNS, our CMS, production operations, and third-party SaaS systems.
