DevOps Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated deployment pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, TFS, and CI/CD frameworks to accelerate software release cycles.
• Manage cloud infrastructure across platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, and OpenStack, ensuring robust security measures and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Orchestrate containerization and virtualization technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, and OpenStack to support scalable microservices architectures.
• Automate configuration management with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, and PowerShell to streamline IT operations and reduce manual intervention.
• Monitor system performance using tools like New Relic, Splunk, Elasticsearch, and log analysis techniques; troubleshoot issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Administer enterprise software including Weblogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle Database, and related middleware components.
• Collaborate with development teams on requirements gathering for software projects; implement best practices for system testing, debugging, high availability solutions, and incident recovery procedures.
