Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, and supporting Elevate’s Azure cloud platform with a strong emphasis on secure networking, automation, and scalable application delivery. This role focuses on Infrastructure‑as‑Code, CI/CD pipelines, and operational reliability in a regulated environment. The DevOps Engineer is responsible for designing and supporting private, enterprise‑grade Azure environments that rely on private endpoints, controlled DNS resolution, segmented VNets, and restricted ingress/egress patterns. This position partners closely with Infrastructure, Application Development, Security, and Compliance teams to enable reliable and secure cloud operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Infrastructure‑as‑Code & Automation

* Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure‑as‑Code using tools such as bicep, Pulumi (preferred) and/or Terraform. * Build reusable and standardized infrastructure patterns across development, test, and production environments. * Ensure infrastructure changes are version‑controlled, peer‑reviewed, and auditable.

Azure Platform & Private Networking

* Design, deploy, and support private Azure networking architectures, including: + Virtual Networks (VNets) and subnet design + Azure Private Endpoints and Private Link services + Private DNS zones and DNS zone group configurations + Hub‑and‑spoke and segmented network models + Restricted public access and private‑only service exposure * Troubleshoot connectivity, name resolution, and routing issues in private Azure environments. * Partner with Security and Infrastructure teams to enforce least‑privilege network access and secure perimeter design.
