What You Will Be Doing

As the Database Administrator you will be the liaison between Windchill end users and Windchill IT, to work on Windchill enhancements, end user support, testing, reporting, and supporting 1LMX related activities. You’ll partner with engineers, program managers, and customers to ensure data is reliable, secure, and readily available across development, test, staging, and production systems. You will also participate in 1LMX initiatives which impact the Windchill dPLM system and business processes.

Your responsibilities will include

• Windchill end user support, communications, and training
• Lead multi-function working groups, facilitate dPLM Change Control Board (CCB) reviews, and prioritize change requests
• Support 1LMX efforts that impact Windchill dPLM
• Conduct user acceptance testing, ad hoc queries, and data mining activities to support decision making
• Plan and execute upgrades, backups, recovery strategies, and testing throughout environment transitions (dev test stage prod).
• Document policies, procedures, and standards for database management and transaction monitoring
• Develop creative solutions to improve Windchill’s functionality
• Create and manage user accounts, assign appropriate access, and enforce security and integrity controls
• Data Stewardship
