The minimum salary is $68,985.28 annually.

This position is not eligible for overtime (exempt); however, the city has a compensatory time leave program for employees that grants leave time for hours worked in excess of forty hours.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION -----------------------

The purpose of this classification is to develop and maintain data strategies, security and structures by identifying, documenting, integrating and producing actionable information and coordinating the sharing of that information in a way that will best benefit end users. This will entail migrating Microsoft Access databases to our local MS SQL 2022 AG environment, designing and implementing interfaces between our mission critical on-premise and secondary cloud systems, and developing in-house solutions to answer the growing need to understand, maintain, and improve interactions with our data.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Two (2) years of related experience, ideally including TSQL, C#, PHP, VBA, or other on-premise web and/or Windows Client application development
• Additional years of related education may substitute for years of experience
• Additional years of related experience may substitute for years of education
