Data Engineer Analyst

JOB SUMMARY

DataUp Consulting is looking for a driven individual who is excited to learn and grow in the data space. As a Data Engineer Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering successful client engagements, helping design and implement data architectures across our core platforms, including Domo, Strategy, and Snowflake. You will support the full data lifecycle, from data acquisition and transformation to visualization and reporting, gaining hands-on experience with modern ETL, cloud data warehousing, and BI tools along the way. This role is a great fit for someone who wants to build a strong foundation in data engineering and analytics while contributing directly to real client outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Collaboration

• Engage with clients to understand their business objectives, data requirements, and analytics goals.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze data-related requirements and constraints.

Architecture & Data Modeling

• Design scalable and efficient data architectures based on client specifications and industry best practices.
• Develop and maintain data models across Domo, Snowflake, and Strategy environments, ensuring they align with business needs and accommodate future scalability.

Data Integration & ETL

• Oversee the integration of diverse data sources into a cohesive and unified system.
• Build and maintain ETL/ELT processes to ensure data quality and consistency, using tools such as Domo Magic ETL, Azure Data Factory, and Snowflake.
• Write and optimize SQL for data transformation, and develop Python scripts to automate recurring data loads and file transfers.

BI & Data Platform Expertise (Domo, Strategy, Snowflake, Power BI)

* Leverage deep knowledge of the Domo platform, including Magic ETL, to build effective dashboards, visualizations, and reports
