As an AWS Geospatial Software Engineer, you can resolve a problem with a complete end-to-end geospatial solution in a fast, agile environment. This role is more than just coding. As a software engineer at Booz Allen, you’ll use your passion to master new tools and techniques and identify needed system improvements. You’ll help clients overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches, tools, and technologies. You’ll make sure the solution developed by the team considers the architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements.

You Have

• 5+ years of experience in software with a cloud-first development approach
• 5+ years of experience with back-end development, including with back-end languages such as Java, Python, GO, or C++, and front-end languages such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, or CSS
• 3+ years of experience with enterprise application development, including geospatial data processing and spatial algorithm development
• 3+ years of experience with AWS services and cloud-native architecture patterns, including ECS/EKS, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM policies, security groups, and network security
• 3+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation
